Chinese weddings are conscious. While many of these customs no longer followed today there are still a few that have survived the centuries and are part of the modern weddings.There is a Chinese saying, “男大当婚, 女大当嫁. It is natural to get married when you grow up.”And so, marriage is very important to the Chinese culture.
In America and many other countries, handles of the family of the bride at the expense of the wedding. Most weddings are 12 dinner, consisting of from delicacies such as abalone, shark fin soup, suckling pig and fried rice. While there are traditionally no glass of champagne or a Chinese wedding guests can expect an open bar drinking a good glass of cognac with the happy couple.
